The ingredients in Elcor Labs Build Plate Adhesive might sound complicated, but you've probably encountered both of them in everyday products.
Polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) is the water-soluble polymer used to make the dissolvable films around laundry and dishwasher detergent pods. It forms a strong, continuous film that helps your prints adhere to the build plate.
Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) is commonly found in hairsprays and other styling products, where it forms a thin film that helps hold hair in place. In our adhesive, PVP contributes its own adhesive properties while helping create a smooth, uniform coating.
Together, these two polymers interact at the molecular level to form a cohesive adhesive layer that helps keep your prints securely attached throughout printing.
Strong adhesion when you need it. Simple water cleanup when you're done.

Get More from Your Build Plate Adhesive
You don't need to reapply adhesive between every print. Just refresh it with a little water!
Water rehydrates and partially dissolves the adhesive's polymers, allowing them to spread back into a thin, even film across your build plate.
Less waste, fewer applications, and reliable adhesion for your next print.
